Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is POOLSIDE NEWCASTLE trading as Poolside Newcastle, 74 Fern st Islington
2. Competition Period
The Competition opens at 22 AUG 2026 at midnight 5 SEPT 2026
Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.
3. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who nominate a genuine residential swimming pool located within Newcastle, Lower Hunter and Lake Macquarie postcoded area NSW.
The entrant must have a genuine connection with the nominated pool, such as being the owner, resident, tenant, family member of the owner/resident, or person responsible for the pool.
Employees, directors and officers of the Promoter, and persons involved in conducting or determining the winner of the Competition, are not eligible to enter.
4. How to Enter
Entry is FREE, and no purchase is necessary.
To enter, entrants must complete the official Competition entry form on the Poolside Newcastle website during the Competition Period.
Entrants will be asked to provide:
name;
email address;
mobile number;
nominated pool/property address;
approximate pool size; and
pool finish/type.
All information provided must be accurate.
There is a maximum of one valid entry per nominated pool/property address. Where multiple entries are received for the same address, the Promoter may accept the first valid entry and deem subsequent entries ineligible.
5. Pool Verification
The Promoter is not required to verify every nominated pool before the draw.
The selected entrant will initially be considered the provisional winner.
Before awarding the prize, Poolside Newcastle may reasonably verify that the nominated property contains a genuine residential swimming pool, that the information supplied is accurate and that the entrant has a genuine connection with the pool.
Verification may include requesting a current photograph of the nominated pool or other reasonable evidence.
If the provisional winner cannot reasonably establish their eligibility or has provided false or misleading information, the entry may be deemed invalid and another winner drawn.
6. Prize
There is one (1) prize:
1 × Maytronics Dolphin X30 Robotic Pool Cleaner
Approximate retail value: AUD $2,699
Total prize pool: AUD $2,699
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash except where required by law.
If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may, subject to applicable law, substitute a prize of comparable or greater value.
7. Winner Draw
The winner will be selected at random from all valid eligible entries.
Every valid entry included in the draw will have an equal chance of being selected.
The draw will take place:
Saturday, 5 September 2026
Poolside Newcastle, 74 Fern St Islington
The Promoter intends to use an independent electronic random draw system to select the winner.
Duplicate and invalid entries may be removed before the draw.
8. Winner Notification
The provisional winner will be contacted using the phone number and/or email address supplied with their entry.
Once eligibility has been verified, they will be confirmed as the winner.
Poolside Newcastle may announce the confirmed winner on its website and social media channels using limited information such as the winner's first name, surname initial and suburb.
The winner's phone number, email address and street address will not be publicly disclosed.
9. Unclaimed Prize
The provisional winner must respond and provide any reasonably requested verification within 14 days of initial notification.
If the winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts, does not respond, cannot establish eligibility or their entry is found to be invalid, the Promoter may conduct another random draw from the remaining valid entries.
10. Marketing Consent
By submitting an entry, entrants agree to receive relevant marketing communications from Poolside Newcastle by email and SMS, including pool care information, products, services, special offers and promotions.
This marketing consent will be clearly disclosed on the Competition entry form before the entrant submits their entry.
Marketing consent will continue until withdrawn. Entrants can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the unsubscribe facility provided in marketing communications or by contacting Poolside Newcastle.
Unsubscribing after entering will not invalidate the Competition entry or affect the entrant's chance of winning.
Poolside Newcastle will not sell entrants' personal information to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected through the Competition will be used to:
administer and validate entries;
identify and contact the winner;
verify eligibility and award the prize;
conduct a redraw where necessary;
comply with applicable legal obligations; and
provide Poolside Newcastle marketing communications in accordance with the consent provided when entering.
Information may be provided to service providers acting on Poolside Newcastle's behalf where reasonably necessary to administer the Competition or its communications.
12. Invalid Entries
Poolside Newcastle may deem an entry invalid where an entrant provides false or misleading information, nominates a property without a genuine residential swimming pool, attempts multiple entries for the same pool address, interferes with the entry or draw process, or cannot reasonably verify their eligibility if selected.
13. Fair Conduct
The Competition will be conducted fairly and impartially.
All valid eligible entries will have an equal chance of being selected.
The Promoter may retain records of the eligible entry list and the independent random draw as evidence of the Competition's fair conduct.
14. Technical Issues
The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not received due to technical problems outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an entry, entrants confirm that they:
meet the Competition eligibility requirements;
have provided accurate information;
have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions; and
consent to receiving Poolside Newcastle marketing communications as described above, with the right to unsubscribe at any time.
Marketing: Entry includes consent to Poolside Newcastle email and SMS marketing. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.
